Asked Questions: |

|
Why should I colour my hair?
Colouring reflects more light and gives hair
a thicker appearance. This in turn adds texture and gives the appearance of healthy hair.
Colouring also enriches your natural hair colour, gives a vibrant colour change and
perfectly covers up grey hair.
Can I use it on permed or
highlighted hair?
If you have used any grey-away product which contains
lead acetate, use this hair colourant only three months after you have stopped using the
grey-away. Otherwise, the ingredients in the hair colourant will react with the lead
acetate, causing a burning sensation on your scalp.
If you have used metallic rinse, metallic colour sprays
or metallic dyes, rinse them off properly before colouring your hair.
What happens if I do not like the
colour of my hair?
If you are unsure of how the colour will turn out, always do a
Strand Test first. However, should colouring go wrong, do not apply another colour right
away. You may correct the colour one week later by using a darker shade than the previous
colour.
Will one bottle of Colour Gel be sufficient for long
hair?
For long hair, you will need two bottles. One bottle will
ensure even coverage for mid-length hair.
How long will the colour last?
Aubry Conditioning Hair Colour is a permanent hair
colour. Once applied, the colour will stay on until the growth of new hair. However, the
intensity of the colour will gradually fade off after 28 washes.
How is Aubry Conditioning Hair
Colour different from those in the salon?
The formulas are basically the same. The only difference
is that Aubry colours are user-friendly and hassle-free for home use.

- Cover the entire strand of hair in the
bowl for 30 minutes.
| How to apply: |

|
Preparation
- Wipe and clean hair. If the desired shade
has not been reached, dip back the hair and check colour every few minutes until
satisfied.Protect your clothing with suitable garments like a dark towel of plastic robe.
- To avoid a stained hairline, apply some
moisturiser around your hairline.
- Put on the protective gloves provided.
- Pour the Colour Gel into the Developing Lotion bottle.
- Shake the mixture well and remove the tip from the nozzle
of the Developing Lotion bottle.
- The colour mixture is now ready to be applied.
Application
Apply on dry hair (shampoo hair only if it is dirty or
greasy).
On Non-Coloured Hair
- Begin from the nape of your head. If used to cover
grey hair, start from the greyest area. Then, apply evenly to the rest of the hair.
- Use a wide-tooth comb to comb the mixture through to
ensure a uniform and complete colour coverage.
- Leave on for 20-30 minutes depending on the condition or
colour of your hair.
On Coloured Hair
- If you still have colour remaining in your hair from a
previous colour treatment, apply the mixture to the roots first and leave on for 10-15
minutes depending on the condition of your hair. Then, apply to the rest of the hair and
leave on for a further 10 minutes.
Unused mixture must be disposed immediately after
treatment. Do not store mixture in a closed-up container as mixture will not be effective
after one hour.
Rinsing
- On completion of development time, add a little water
to hair and work up a lather.
- Rinse hair thoroughly until water runs clear.
- Shampoo with the intensive Treatment Shampoo provided and
then apply the Colour-Seal Conditioner provided. Leave on for approximately 3-5 minutes
before rinsing.
Care After Colour Treatment
Do not use an anti-dandruff of scalp care shampoo for the first week as these will
strip colour from hair. Instead, use a mild shampoo or one that is specially formulated
for coloured hair which contains protective UV screen to enhance the colour of hair.
- Condition regularly with an intensive conditioner to restore vital moisture and lustre
to colour-treated hair.
