I’ve tried regular pumpkin
seed oil in the market, but it didn’t really work that well. It only
helped to a certain extent. However, I’ve not tried a fat-free
pumpkin seed. Does it really work much better than regular pumpkin
seed?
Pumpkin seed extract has been tested and proven clinically to be
effective in relieving urinary incontinence and recently it is
established that higher levels of active components responsible for
this treatment action are found in the fat-free fraction. EFLA® 940
Pumpkin Seed Extract is produced using an advanced patented technology
– the EFLA® HyperPure process to remove the undesirable fat
fraction found in conventional pumpkin seed. EFLA® HyperPure process
is developed by a well-established active ingredient manufacturer
Frutarom Switzerland Ltd. This product is one of its kind thus may not
be commonly available in the local market.

Can I take more than 2 tablets
a day?
Yes, you may. The recommended dosage (maintenance dosage) for most
individuals is 2 per day. However, if you intend to use EFLA® 940
Pumpkin Seed Extract for therapeutic purposes, we recommend that you
increase the dosage to 2 tablets in the morning and evening during the
first and second week of treatment. After that, you can resume taking
only 1 tablet in the morning and evening (maintenance dosage).
Can I take it together with my medications?
Yes. There are no known contra-indications. In fact, for those taking
blood pressure lowering medications (e.g. alpha blockers, anti-hypertensive)
or sleeping pills, it is good to supplement with EFLA® 940 Pumpkin
Seed Extract because these drugs can cause urinary incontinence.
Who should take EFLA® 940
Pumpkin Seed Extract? When should they start taking it?
Every adult (male and female) should take EFLA® 940 Pumpkin Seed
Extract, especially those suffering from urinary incontinence. It can
be taken for treatment or as a preventive measure. Men should start
after 40 due to the probability of developing BPH (a major urinary
problem among men). Women should start after 30, after giving birth,
going through perimenopause or menopause because the chances for
developing urinary incontinence due to weaken pelvic floor muscles are
high.
(stef’s note—do we need to be
careful with saying “it can be taken for treatment” or even in the
question above – “for therapeutic purposes” – These are
normally no-nos in terms of product copy… can these statements get
us into legal trouble? or does the “proven” clinical test stuff
make it ok?”
I have a friend that had good
results with Saw Palmetto, but it didn’t work for me. Should I try
EFLA® 940 Pumpkin Seed Extract instead? Will it work for me?
Saw Palmetto works wonderfully for BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
or prostate enlargement). However, not all urinary problems in men are
caused by BPH, so Saw Palmetto won’t always work. Your problem may
be due to Pollakiuria, which may cause urinary problems similar to
those of BPH. EFLA® 940 Pumpkin Seed Extract works fabulous for this.
So, if you’ve tried Saw Palmetto, and have not gotten complete
relief, you may be suffering pollakiuria, and taking EFLA® 940
Pumpkin Seed Extract will offer you better relief.
I am currently taking Saw
Palmetto. Should I switch to EFLA® 940 Pumpkin Seed Extract?
If you are currently taking Saw Palmetto, and are not getting any
relief from it, you can switch entirely to EFLA® 940 Pumpkin Seed
Extract. However, if you are happy with Saw Palmetto, but would like
even more relief, you can try adding EFLA® 940 Pumpkin Seed Extract
to Saw Palmetto, or try switching to EFLA® 940 Pumpkin Seed Extract
alone. Many users have reported excellent results without the need to
take a combination.
Can I take a combination of Saw
Palmetto and EFLA® 940 Pumpkin Seed Extract?
Yes. You may take a combination of both Saw Palmetto and EFLA® 940
Pumpkin Seed Extract if you’d like. There are no contra-indications.
