Moisturizing Memo
-
When moisturizing
your face, don't forget your neck! The skin here is very delicate
and wrinkles as easily as your face.
-
During summer months,
try a tinted moisturizer instead of using foundation. These are
available in shades that range from cool beige to deep tan, and are
applied just like a normal moisturizer.
-
The cheapest moisturizer
you can buy is petroleum jelly. You can improve its heavy texture by
adding a few drops of witchhazel to the jar and then whipping it
until it turns fluffy and white.
-
Moisturizers that
contain sunscreens are often expensive. If using a separate
sunscreen, apply it before your moisturizer. When choosing a
sunscreen, look for one with a similar texture to your moisturizer.
-
Little and often is the
best way to apply a moisturizer. If your skin feels dry at midday,
apply wherever you feel the need.
